TINGKAT KEPERCAYAAN DIRI ATLET REMAJA

Abstract


Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah melakukan tinjauan terhadap tingkat kepercayaan diri atlet pemula yang berlatih di bawah kepengurusan PASI Padang Pariaman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan adalah memberikan penyebaran angket dengan mengharapkan pengalaman atlet pemula berlomba pada tingkatan, bagaimana atlet memacu diri untuk mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan, bagaimana keadaan fasilitas dan perannya dalam membantu perkembangan atlet, dan kondisi lingkungan latihan. Dari 9 atlet pemula yang dilakukan analisis determinasi, fasilitas, dan lingkungan latihan dapat disimpulkan bahwasanya atlet remaja PASI Padang Pariaman memiliki tingkat motivasi yang tinggi. Meskipun demikian pada tahap selanjutnya untuk mengetahui bagaimana kepercayaan diri terbangun perlu adanya studi kualitatif melalui aspek yang membangun kepercayaan diri sehingga perkembangan kepercayaan diri dapat diketahui dan bagaimana mengontrol kepercayaan diri pada seseorang melalui teknologi.
